More kitties saved from high-kill shelter this week!

We were able to pull 12 kittens/cats from Cumberland County shelter yesterday.  Cumberland County has a 98% kill rate on cats.  Pictures of most are up on our Kitten Alley Facebook page, and the rest of the pictures will be up soon.

It's worth the drive to the shelter to be able to save these kitties.

And we were able to pull 6 more. A mama with 4 kittens (all black including mama which make them "less desirable" to a lot of people but we think it makes them perfect!), a sick orange and white older female kitten, and a flame point siamese mix who will be going to Animal Eye Care as soon as we can get an appointment because part of his eyelid is adhered to his eye. Poor guy.
